Spay/Neuter Program

This service is limited to the residents of St. Croix and Pierce counties in Wisconsin. SCAF will help fund the cost of a spay or neuter procedure for one animal per household.

To apply for financial support, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.

How It Works

Low-cost spay or neuter is offered to clients at a cost of $50 per animal for pets whose owners demonstrate genuine financial need. Pet owners pay the $50 fee directly to the vet clinic.  SCAF subsidizes the remainder of the cost and pays for a necessary rabies shot.

For our records, pet owners are asked to email to SCAF a quality photograph showing their pet prominently.

SCAF works with a network of local veterinarians who have reduced their prices for this low cost program.  If the application is approved, clients are mailed a Spay/Neuter Certificate to redeem at participating veterinary offices throughout the area as listed below on the certificate.
